The way I work

Although I have been trained in different modalities, my way of understanding the complexity of human psyche is through a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic framework. I believe that understanding the relationship between your early life experiences and current difficulties can give you a chance to learn a healthier way of coping with your struggles.

This does not mean that the treatment has to be necessarily long term or that all we talk is the past. Rather, recognising how past experiences influence the present creates a space where change becomes possible.

My aim is to provide a safe, personal and reflective space where you can talk about yourself and what troubles you.

To begin with, I offer a consultation, during which I try to get to know you and build a picture of your difficulties and propose the most appropriate intervention. We will then decide if I would be the right person to help with your problem. The experience of the consultation should give you an idea of how I work, what is expected of you and what you can expect of me.

If I am not the right person, I will ensure that I connect you with someone who can help you.
