Dr Katja Simoncelli, Chartered Clinical Psychologist

I am a Charted Clinical Psychologist and a systemic practitioner registered with the Health Care Professional Council with extensive experience in the NHS, charity and private sectors.

Over the years, I have worked with adults, adolescents and families across a wide range of settings including outpatient psychotherapy clinics and in therapeutic communities.

My expertise includes supporting individuals with complex emotional needs and trauma both in the NSH and at the Anna Freud Centre. In the NHS, I worked primarily with adults with personality and relational difficulties.

At the AF Centre my work involved providing individual, group, and parent-child attachment-based therapy to parents with complex emotional needs and their children aged 0-5 years old with attachment difficulties.

Currently, I work full time in private practice where I see adults in person in my consulting room in Central or Southeast London. I have some capacity for remote sessions online.

I also supervise clinicians from different clinical backgrounds and offer consultations and psychotherapy in English and Italian.
